About Adam

Adam has made his way across the country- from growing up in Boston, to school in Chicago (Northwestern) and landing in Los Angeles. He started in the biz at Walt Disney Pictures. Walking under the seven dwarves every morning was a great way to start the day and great intro the industry. He then moved to Miramax Films, where he had the chance to work on SHE’S ALL THAT, 54, and Best Picture nominee CIDER HOUSE RULES. Adam left Miramax to go work with actor Patrick Stewart and try to boldly go where no man had gone before in their deal with Paramount. During that time, he oversaw the development of TNT’s BOSS LEAR and Showtime’s LION IN WINTER. Adam then went to Relevé where he started in development shaping film and TV projects for their management clients, including Usher and Chris Brown. It was there he stumbled from shaping scripts to shaping careers and a new path was born. Adam decided to start his own management/ production company, The Rookery, and executive produced the Fox feature ROLL BOUNCE, directed by Malcolm Lee. He also executive produced NO EXCUSES WITH MASTER P for VH-1. His client roster of directors, writers, and actors have been part of many hit shows including EMPIRE, THE WIRE, BEL- AIR, THE GAME, ARROW, YELLOWJACKETS, BLACK LIGHTNING, THE GILDED AGE, ALL RISE, NURSE JACKIE, POWER, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, and ALL AMERICAN. When not in front of his computer, Adam is likely playing tennis or hiking with his wife and son.

WHAT I LOVE MoST ABOUT WHAT I DO FOR A LIVING IS…
I have had many of my clients from the ground floor of their careers, and it’s been a thrill to see them rise up the ladder and be there for each milestone.   I love being part of the journey and navigating all the ups and downs of an often crazy business.
